Frigărui[1] (Romanian pronunciation: [friɡəˈruj], singular: frigăruie) is a Romanian dish consisting of small pieces of meat (usually pork, beef, mutton, lamb or chicken) grilled on a skewer, similar to shashlik or shish kebab. Often, the pieces of meat alternate with bacon, sausages, or vegetables, such as onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and mushrooms. It is seasoned with spices such as pepper, garlic, savory, rosemary, marjoram and laurel.
The word frigăruie is a diminutive form of frigare 'skewer', which is derived from a frige, meaning 'to grill' or 'to fry'. This in turn comes from the Latin frῑgĕre 'roast, fry' and as such is a cognate of the English 'fry'.[2]

As you may already be aware, the culture of Thailand places great importance on food and the enjoyment of it. Eating is viewed as an integral part of social life.
Our menu here has been specially designed to give you the opportunity to experience the Thai style of eating and sharing food. Much like with Tapas in Spanish culture, the size of our portions allows you to taste many different preparations in one sitting.
You may notice that Thais are always dining in groups with their family and friends. A variety of prepared items is placed in the center of the table and shared 'family style', with everyone relishing small bites of their favorite dishes.
As a Thai kitchen uses a large variety of flavors and ingredients, we have separated the menu into five different main tastes, all of which work together to create a full Thai meal experience. A complete Thai menu would typically contain a rather spicy item, a plate with a sweet palate, a salty plate, a sour dish for refreshment, and a less spicy preparation to neutralize the palate.
The portions are not large in order for you to taste the different dishes, so we recommend that you order 2-3 items per person best one of each taste.

Amazing
My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant whilst sailing around the Andaman Sea. We were so impressed that we sailed all the way back and spent our final 3 nights anchored off the resort. The manager of the resort Basil and his staff made us feel so welcome we didn't want to leave. The food is traditional style Thai food without the usual western touch that in my opinion spoils it. The head chef Toto came and introduced himself and gave us some insight into his menu and spoiled us with his signature desert 'banana spring rolls'. If you're lucky enough to be on the island or just sailing past treat yourself to an amazing food and wine experience.

Ce restaurant est située dans un hôtel. Nous avons la vue sur la mer, c'est calme, peu de table, lumière tamisée. Le personnel est charmant, le sourire et au petit soin. Le menu est pensé pour les couples, 3 menu a partager a deux, c'est copieux et moyennement chère (1000 bath pour deux : 25 euro). Les cocktails sont chère mais excellent. Nous avons mangé plusieurs fois la bas. C'est super.

This restaurant, within the resort, extends a very extensive Thai menu, which gives you the choice of 'Medium' spiced dishes which turned out to be perfect if you are not used to very spicy dishes.

Very charming outdoor restaurant overlooking Phang Nga Bay on Koh Noi Yoi Island. The food was excellent with many varied selections..some western and many Thai. There is also a very nice cocktail menu. I recommend the Thaihito. And a small selection menu in-between lunch and dinner. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Everything is fresh and they will cook to accommodate your tastes as well. I asked for everything non spicy so they left out chillis etc which made me very happy. A very ice dining experience. I ate 6 meals there and was pleased with each one.
